Introduction

FormWorld's vision was to create a user friendly tool for form building and management. We have greatly succeeded in achieving this goal and have decided to make the next logical step and introduce our form builder to service providers.

FormWorld.Net API (FWAPI) is a growing set of services exposing online form builder functionality, matching that on our Create section. This functionality can be used by all kinds of clients - varying from end-users, who want to build and publish their own survey, to service providers, who would like to provide that functionality to their customers. All of the service functionality, such as the WYSIWYG form editor is white-labelled - i.e. any company can rebrand the product and start delivering it as their own.

All of the FWAPI interfaces are accessible to service clients, which we call franchises, as well as end-users, which we call simply users. Franchise-specific APIs include UI manipulation, user management and statistics reports generation functions. User-specific APIs provide form management functionality.

We have created a completely working example of our white-labeled tool offered to hosting companies and service providers. The available demo shows Formworld.Net’s powerful user interface already used by more than 5000 web masters.

Administrative Interface

Formworld.Net provides a feature rich administrative interface to every franchise owner. The aministrative interface can be used to:

  • Manage Franchise.
  • Generate Franchise User Statistics.
  • Manage Individual User Accounts.
  • Check your Franchise billing records.


FWAPI

For an easy integration to your set of services, Formworld.Net provides a comprehensive developers’ API. The API functionality is divided in three major categories.

1. Setup and Manage a Franchise

Upon signing a contract with FormWorld.Net, a franchise owner will obtain a unique franchise API Key. Through the API Key, a franchise owner creates his own Franchise Token which is later used for all available API calls.

A set of API Functions are available to change the initial API Key, or generate new Franchise Token. Furthermore service provides can fully customize the form builder with custom HTML Headers, CSS and JavaScript content.

2. Manage Users

While FormWorld.Net provides an Online Administrative Interface for direct user management, we have also developed a set of API functions for service providers to utilize individual or mass user management outside of our own web interface.
This set of API calls can be used to:

  • Create New Users
  • Suspend/Activate Users
  • Delete Users
  • Upgrade/Downgrade Service Plan
  • Assign Unique User Properties
  • Generate Franchise User Statistics

3. End User - Form Manipulation

Formworld.Net will provide a powerful form builder interface to each end-user, customized with your branded header content. End-users will have full control over their online forms.

For service provides who want to completely integrate the end-user experience within their own environment, the FWAPI is powered with individual form manipulation functions:

  • Get all user saved forms
  • Allow users to create new forms
  • Edit saved forms
  • Delete individual user forms
